Here’s the role specification:

  • You would be involved in the planning of the largest multi-campus event on Africa in the UK
  • You will actively be involved in the sales and marketing of this event
  • You will carry out research on student trends and activities
  • You will be involved in developing strategy for the Project Team

What would my hours be like?

Your hours will be flexible and most of your responsibilities will be task oriented with strict timelines. 

Where will I work?

Right where you are. You will need to attend an initial meeting and after that, all Project Discussions will take place via conference call. You will be required to work in the final week of the project. This may require a visit to CABE in Colchester. All expenses paid.

What kind of person would I need to be? 

  • Must be passionate about Africa or eager to learn about Africa
  • Must be well spoken and willing/able to speak publicly
  • Must have a very positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Must be able to use own initiative and be innovative in project ‘grey areas’
  • Must have an entrepreneurial mind set
  • Must be willing to travel (local and possibly international)

This role is for an immediate start.
